うちには、無報酬にもかかわらず「顧問」を引き受けていただいている専門家が二人いる。
一人は、中堅の文化財関係の仕事をされている会社の、もと役人の方。
その方は主に営業関係をお願いしているが、もう一人「知財」関係の顧問を引き受けていただいている専門家の方がいて、彼の提案で、アメリカの財団にこの仕事への理解と寄付のお願いをすることになった。
本来、日本の文化財を後世に伝える仕事であり、日本国内に多くの残さなければならない文化遺産があるにもかかわらず、なかなかこの仕事への理解を得られない現実がある。
一方海外のほうが、「日本文化」に理解を示す人が大勢いる様子ですし、また特にアメリカは寄付社会と言われます。
アメリカ国内だけにとどまらず、いろんな活動に寄付を惜しまない財団もある様子。
ずいぶん以前ですが、ある仏具屋さんの奥さんからも、「日本国内より海外で認められる可能性がある」と言われたこともあり、私も機会あるたびに海外へPRしてきたのですが、生憎私は語学が苦手で日本語しか話せない。
中国語のホームページも作ってあるが、生憎中国人のあの性格ゆえ、まだ仕事に結びつかない。
そこで、知財の顧問が私の代理人となり、アメリカの財団にメールを入れ始めてくれた。
わたしはできれば、直接パンフレットや先日のB1サイズのポスターでも送ったうえで、そんなお願いをしないと相手にされないと思った。
しかし、百を超える財団にそれぞれ送るとなると、かなりの出費となる。
そこでまず、メールを出してみることになったのだが・・・
わたしは迷惑メールとして振り分けられると、あまり期待していなかったが、しかしどうも受け取った財団のいくつかは「自動応答メール」を返してきていて、その内容は、確かに受け取り検討し返答しますというようなものなので、少なくても迷惑メールとしてはじかれたわけではないことがわかり、一安心した。

There are 10350 designated National Cultural properties( include 864
National treasures), 50250 designated Local government Cultural
properties, and fork intangible cultural properties (207 Nationals, 5360
Local governments) in Japan. And there are a lot of cultural assets
that are not designated yet and are not discovered of their value.
We restore these cultural properties, fine art crafts, paints, documents
and books.
We need your help. Your valued donation will save and protect cultural
properties.
I believe that the “culture” is made of the mental activities of people,
and that the “cultural properties” makes a record of the mental
activities of people. Because of our achievement to the cultural
properties, we received “Naniwa no Meiko (Master craftsman of Naniwa)”
award of Osaka prefecture and “Gendai no Meiko (Contemporary Master
craftsman)” award of Kyoto prefecture.
I believe that your help will also lead to save and to protect your
predecessors heart and thought and will enhance your corporate image
with clients and staff.

Our digital restoration technique is different from so-called computer
graphics.
Before we restore a cultural property:
First, we take a photograph of the cultural property highly and preciously
(I have years of experience in professional photographer).
Next, the photograph is made using the special techniques, such as
infrared photography, ultraviolet photography, fluorescence photography
and etc.
Then, we analyze the photographic image, we search the invisible but
remained information, color, paint, shape, material.
